Power BI Saturday COVID19 Edition – Practical guide to building reports to measure the impact of Covid19

The session is presented by Jen Stirrup. Someone who’s been in the data visualization space for a long time, and written a few books on Tableau, also work with a lot of other technologies, including Microsoft Azure.

The topic of this session is different ways that we can analyze the data to start to think about looking for fraud. There’s been a lot of questions about the COVID 19 virus, there’s been a lot of concerns that the data has not been analyzed properly. It has also been concerned that it is not being collected properly and has also been insinuations that governments are hiding the true number of cases that they actually have. So, when we look at data science, we’re interested in trying to understand better as the data They in some way fraudulent or not, we can do some forensics to understand why that might be the case. Because then we start to look at data, we can analyze it in different ways. You can see what’s happening, what will happen, and what people should do.

Also the session will cover Benford’s Law by Frank Benford and how it takes an important role in False detection in Data.
